I'm new here and I only discovered it today. My name is Jayden, but I'm also known as Jay. I started my small business back in febuary of this year making polymer clay food jewellery, but only recently thought about marketing the business.

I was lucky to have customers find my site, but now I really want to market the company both in the real world and the internet.

I'm hoping this forum would be able to help me understand marketing better as it seems like a minefield and I'm generally not a good sales man.

It will be good to share ideas with like-minded people and help each other out.

Thank you all for making me feel like part of the start up nation community. Vict do you have any tips on free Internet marketing? A lot of the ones I've seen mention Facebook and Google paid ads, but it's not a route I want to take.

I do agree with you that it can increase traffic and visibility to the site. Just not sure how to go about it.
