I am in the midst of starting a company. My company will be technology based. I will be selling blank media, offering research services and importing and exporting.
I am looking for something with a professional ring to it.
What do you mean, "blank media?" Despite what Nikole says, I`m guessing
you`re not talking about 5-1/4" floppy disks.......right? I mean,
everyone these days uses those new 3-1/2" floppies. Right?
But more seriously....what ideas have you had so far, so we can maybe see where your imagination already is leading?

My father needed a name for a shipping company. We`d all just gone to
watch a movie, "Jason and the Argonauts," and were discussing the
company name at dinners. My brother, I think he was about 8 at the
time, suggested calling it "Argonaut Shipping." And by gosh....that`s
what it ended up!
Not only doesn`t it matter if you use your kids` initials, I think it
makes great cocktail party conversation when there`s a story behind the
name of a company. The only issue you might have is if the initials are
similar to another product, which may be well-known to your own market.
(oops...thought I was writing about the KBT collection of graphics
utilities. Turns out it`s the KPT collection....so deleted a paragraph
here.)
Thats a great idea. I have always dreamed of having a business named after my kids so when they grow up hopefully they`ll be the ones running it. Just a dream.
Thats what keeps me going is dreams. I will admit its not easy but thats the best part of the whole is the chase. I know when the day comes that I am up and running successfully I`ll be able to look back and say it was all worth it.
