HI I am in need of help choosing a name for my business. I have selected a few but I guess I am just not happy with them. So any help would be very grateful. I am an artist and I paint windows (such as holiday wndows),murals for kids rooms or class rooms, face painting etc.. Here are a couple that I thought about; !)Creative Painting 2) Painted Thing by Misty I want something catchy and that people will remember. Something cool.
Not sure if it qualifies as cool, but the first couple of things that came to mind are Misty's Murals & Paintings, and A Painted Picture. The second is very catchy but less descriptive, and the first is more descriptive and less catchy.
Just some thoughts!
Bizchickblogs has the right idea. I like the name Misty's Murals and Paintings it has it all. Your name and exactly what you do. Don"t make the mistake of naming it something that your clients have no idea what you do. I had a sign shop that I called Marketing Designs after 6 months I changed it to Sign Service because people I called on could not understand what I was selling.

I like both names given by bizchickblogs. Misty's Murals and Paintings sounds better though. The other name though catchy can give the wrong impression to a potential client.
I like both options bixchickblogs suggested. As she said Misty's Murals & Paintings is clearer / more descriptive of your actual business. A Painted Picture is catchier, but could be confusing for consumers.
How about Clearpaint or Crystal Paint or Promopaint or Adpaint? Would any of those work for you?
One thing I suggest you do to stimulate ideas is brainstorm a few words around who and what your business is about. There are some really created free web-based tools you can use such as - http://unique-names.com/word-mixer.php, http://www.rhymezone.com/ & http://www.wordnik.com/.
Give them a try and see what you come up with!
How about Special Event Painting or Holiday Window Creations? Misty Paint could possibly work too.
