Here`s the deal.  I`ve started doing custom posters of people`s houses.  This part of my business as an artist has gotten good reception and is growing.  Cool, a new market to explore!

So I thought I would put more of an emphasis on this branch of my career by creating a whole new site specifically to market house posters.  Otherwise, they would get lost in my current poster portfolio on CampSteve.com, which is mostly travel posters.

But I want a good site name - something simple, self-explanatory and easy to remember!  Houseposters.com and homeposters.com are unfortunately not available.  Houseposters.net is available but I`m one of those ".com" snobs.

I thought I`d ask my beloved SuN community for opinions.  I like "houseposters" but what do you think of ".net" or ".biz" or the other common options?  Can you think of any other good names?

Steve, LOVE the custom poster of houses!! Love it so much that I`d like to learn details.

Like ... can you do a poster of my 1941 bungalow even though you`re in a different state? What is the cost?

Cool idea Steve, in college I of course needed cash so I started doing Christmas posters custom painted that covered the storm door of people’s homes, I also did window painting that looked like stained glass. I actually did pretty good now that I think of it, hummmm.

As for the name, this ones kind of difficult because houseposters to me sounds like posters FOR your house not OF my house. Maybe:

This is exactly why I want to make a dedicated website!  People who love their homes love the concept.

I can work from photos which someone can email me.  So yes, I can capture a house that is anywhere!  Joel, I`ll message you with details.

So far, three out of five houses that I have done are historic.  I would imagine that most of them will be, but I don`t want to limit that in the name of the site.  I can emphasize capturing historic houses in the marketing copy.

I kind of like Posterizemyhome.com or Customehomeposters.com.

Or what do you think of Posterofmyhome.com?

And thoughts on Dwellingposters.com?  (I winced at first but now it is growing on me.)

well posterofmyhome.com is exactly what it is so that one makes sense.

Dwellingposters sounds better than homeposters but does everyone know what dwelling means? Probably not but it sounds nice and professional. Although people might think Dwelling is a last name of the artist.
