Hello All,

I do know we are all here to help in growing a business or starting one.  I do realize that this is the whole point of startupnation.  However I am currently a restarant owner and am looking for how can I sell my business.  I am looking for ideas on what would be the best method other then hiring a broker.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone has.

I would recommend using a business broker.  It may cost you 6-10% but they know the correct multiples for the area.  Most of the good ones have a list of folks that are interested in certain types of businesses.

www. bizbuysell.com is a good place to start researching.

If you are selling the business and the structure then a commercial real estate agent might be able to assist you.  Here is a nationwide commercial link and it should help you find commercial agents in your area: http://www.realtor.org/cominfex.nsf
