I need practical assistance with the making/developing of a various prototypes for some of my ideas, with a view to production, licensing,(babyproducts/leisure). I have no workshop, etc. Is there help available from any source at this stage? eg. a likeminded person/organisation operating on a share of profits basis (in the event of success).

Do some research to see if there are any inventor or inventing groups in your area. You may have to look state-wide, but this seems to be growing rapidly these days. There may be a publicly run organization, something put together by your city or county, or it may be a social networking group. Maybe start in Google, and search on things like "local inventors (your town or zip code)"

I did this and was amazed at the results. Inventors class as anyone with an idea for something new or different. These types of networks and groups work with practical advice.

Just be very sure that you don`t buy some sort of all-in-one package, where someone says they`ll patent your invention for you. Or they`ll take care of the entire thing. Talk with an attorney FIRST...before you actually spend money.
