My name is Keyon Thomas and I work in marketing for Infostreet.com.  I`ve been lurking for a bit and finally decided to take the leap and post.

I joined Startup Nation for a few reasons:

  1. to share ideas with like minded individuals.  I may be an employee but many of the ideas shared here are directly applicable to my work.
  2. to connect with business owners for the possibility of establishing mutually beneficial partnerships.  If someone out there needs my company`s services and vice-versa, let`s talk.
  3. to have fun!  I think we are allowed that every once in a while right?

Hi there, Keyon. :-) Although the bylaws of Startup Nation do include references to having fun, there are strict limits on the use and application of that fun. You`re allowed to have fun in small time increments, known as "fun moments." Those increments are usually measured in units called "weirds."

So if you provide 6 weirds, you can have 2.97 fun moments. The calculations are complex, so I would urge you to learn how to use a slide rule, as that`s the only accurate way to measure.

If you have any questions, please contact Star Fleet Command.
