Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I have been looking around for quite a while and decide to join today.

As for what I do....I sell Jerky!!! I market on and offline and love it. The biggest issue we face currently is not eating our profits.

I also dabble in web design and computer programming as well as woodturning. I get in trouble when my mind is idle so I try to keep it busy.

I hope I can bring some value to this great site.

ummmm Jerky. Do you sell deer jerky? My hunting buddy has a real nice recipe for deer and goose smoked sausage, its REALLY good. Yeah I could see eating your profits might be easy to do. :)

As for my dreams, it is easy. I want to be in control of my own life. When you work for someone else, they control a major part of your life.

I am 26 and a single mom. I am wanting to work online but not sure of what I can do right now to bring some money in. I`m studying Derek Gehl`s Online marketing course now when my son is asleep. I`m wanting to create an online community for single stay at home moms like me. I just need to decide on what kind of content and features I`d like on there. If anyone has any tips or experience with that, please let me know.

Here`s one topic you might take a look at:

Here are two about passion, both of which are good food for thought:

"Finding one`s passion"

Another fun topic was how to start a business with $200.

What it comes down to is that if there`s a will, there`s usually a way. :-) Notice in your own post you state what you don`t know or aren`t sure of. A better way is to forget about the "how" for the moment, and let your imagination roam free.

For example, "I`d like to have an online community for moms like me. It would be all about this topic and that topic, and give moms and maybe dads a place where they could talk. I want it to include this feature and this other one, and I can see it being really useful this way and this other way."

See, it`s more about developing your vision of what you want. It`s not so much about starting with each piece of a vision then trying to prove that it will or won`t work. :-)
