Welp, I`m new here... Getting excited about perhaps jumping into a new
business and I have TONS of questions.   One primary question is how do I
find/ choose a contractor/manufacturer for my product? I`ve been tossing
around and produced a few prototypes for my pet bed concept but now that
I have the idea I need someone to make it AND I need to figure out how to
get the product out. I think trade shows are probably the best, but any
other ideas? Any help would be great!

Hi Aaron :-) Welcome to the forums....

We started with Google and put in our product and then "manufacture." We make flags, so it was `flag manufacture manufacturing.`

That got us some ideas for different word queries, and soon got us the word "textile." So we went into "textile manufacturing outsource."

From there we found ThomasNet for industrial suppliers. After that, it started making sense, and we began to find lot of different approaches.
