I`m new on here, and like many, I`m sure, have miles to go before my new business goes anywhere. If any of you have time to visit my profile, please do, and feel free to suggest, critique, bash or comment in any way. I`ve looked around this site and see some great minds with incredibly fabulous ideas, concepts who also seem very helpful.
Duffy Mac Golf is something I`ve been putting together for 2 years. I networked into working in the golf industry to learn as much as possible before starting - and learn I did. It also open me to change my business`s focus.

If anyone has an interest in what I`m starting or knows of anyone I should be talking to, I`d appreciate any and all input. I`d love a partner.  Matchmakers - please have anyone contact me if there is any interest in joining me in Duffy Mac Golf.

Happy Holidays to All and To All - Great Fortune!!

Wow... golf etiquette seminars.  Who knew something like that existed?!!!  (I`m not a golfer.)  It`s so fascinating all the different things people do with their passions.

Welcome to SuN!

Hi Rick. Sounds like an interesting business with lots of potential (even though I don`t play golf, I could see where an etiquette class might be handy.) Good luck with it, and welcome aboard :)

Steve -

Thanks for the encouraging words.  Working at 2 golf courses in the last 2 years has oly reinforced my thoughts.  So many organizers of golf events want to golf and have even taken a lesson or two, but won`t set foot on a course. They`re so nervous of embarrassing themselves. I mention teaching this and now I have a contact list of about 500 people.

Maybe we could barter if you ever want to learn.  You`re a highly talented guy.  I can only draw in a limited way, as my cartoons show.

Happy holidays and thanks so much for your note!

In time I know I`ll be a customer of yours for myself and gift.  Great thinking!  If you know of groups in Charleston I could present to or - well you know. It`s about networking.  I`ve already told my brother about your site - he`s the reigning family BBQ king. He`ll attempt anything on the grill once and 99% of the time its fabulous!

Happy holidays and thanks so much for your note!

Hi Kathy -

Thanks for taking the time to write. Golf is a misunderstood activity because toomany think that you have to be great,  My mother`s motto (a terrible golfer but loved socializing) was "walk fast, dress nice and who cares about the numbers"  She passed in 1981 but had the perfect attitude. Be outdoors, in  beautiful scenery with people you like. That is the essence if you keep it light.

I know some coast guard people and my dad. whose also passed away, was a Navy Pilot (a PBY Captain) in WWII.

Happy holidays and thanks for taking the time to write!
