Any other addicts out there?  I made sloppy joes last night with a fat Brandywine and it was superb.  Black Krim on bruschetta the night before with Taleggio cheese was the best I`ve ever had (yes, I put cheese on my bruschetta..).  I  heirlooms and would be interested in how you like to enjoy them.

Hubby bought some heirloom tomatoes at the farmer`s market last summer. Mmmm... so tasty. We ate them just by themselves! We turned some of them into BLT`s, too

Perhaps this is disgusting to some, but I like them with a bit of mayo on bread as a sandwich.  I also like them diced up and in my salsa, my spagetti sauce, my chicken tomato alfredo dish, oh . . . just about anything!

There is no tomato better than an heirloom for superb taste. Even my tiny toddler agrees!
