Dont give up. There are some resources there that MAY be able to help you, you just may have to search long and hard. Here is arizona, there is a local business Association called ASBA. They have created a large group guaranteed issue health insurance program in which any member company can get access to health insurance at a discounted rate. Guaranteed Issues means that regardless of your conditions that you will be allowed to enter the program without additional penalties or price increases. I don`t know if this is available in your area but its worth looking into. In this particular association, you can get access to this plan even if you are a sole proprieter. Look around a business associations and see what is in your area.

Good luck to you. BTW...AZ is considered the top ranking Entreprnuer state, maybe it`s time to consider a move :)

Health insurance will typically cover secondary and tertiary care. A rational health insurance system's response to absent primary care would be to jack up the premium on other stages of care.

Just buy enough insurance to get you going. Also buy those that the law requires. Anything extra is just a waste of resources.
