Having problem in 301 redirection using htaccess

I am having a problem like i want to re direct http://www.readquranonline.com/recitation-1 to http://www.readquranonline.com/recitation-1.html pages as they are the same and Google is indexing them as different can any body suggest me some thing and using htaccess file very important.
