Has marketing your business on the Internet been everything you hoped it would be...or are you disenchanted?

Our entire business is online, so that is the only way we market.

Originally, we were just selling on eBay, so they were taking care of the marketing for us. After all, that is why we pay those wonderful eBay fees!

Now that we have started a new website to share with people what we have learned about selling on eBay (www.LizardWisdom.com), we have had to use different means. We must be doing something right as we have had a better than expected response.

The great thing about the Internet is that there are so many people out there that you can reach, it is just a matter of finding out how to reach them. It is much different than trying to advertise in the physical world.

The Internet is a very exciting place to be. The opportunities are endless!

I`m not disenchanted, but I`m not treating online marketing as the end-all. You really need a good mix of online and offline to succeed in business.

Nikole, Amen to that...Even as the internet continues to grow vastly.. it is not by all means the "mother of it all", I think that you need old-school marketing with a twist of the new -school [e-marketing] to let people know you are in business.
