It’s getting close to the end of 2007. What did you achieve in 2007? Everything you wanted to?

Now is a great time to start reflecting on 2007 and then invest some time on your plans for 2008.

What are you going to achieve in 2008?

Are you going to make it your best year ever?

How are you going to make 2008 your best year ever?

One of the tasks individuals struggle with is what to actually plan for.

So, why don’t we all share our goals and ideas right here for others to see.

So here`s mine:

- increase my web clients and customers and earnings ten-fold

- set-up 4 joint ventures for my web business

- create 4 new product offerings for my web business

- take my wife out on a date 2 times every month

- actually go on holiday - somewhere nice and hot (haven`t had a holiday in 2 years!)

- get into the habit of exercising 3 times a week for at least 20 mins

- read 1 new book every month - either a self development or autobiography

- give something back via charity. I have decided that 100% of the net profits from my next product, which is an audio of revealing interviews with top famous successful individuals (in the world of self development, leadership and management) will be given to a Breast cancer charity

Hi Andrew!

I am going to achieve success at a greater level. I have thought about things that hold me back from getting to the next level. For one, I am selling my home. It is way to large to take care of and the mortgage is not helping me either. I was fighting this decision for a long time. I bought this house because I thought "I had to have it". We all make mistakes. I didn`t realize that on top of the whopping mortgage payment that my electric and utility bills would quadruple and that I would have to pay a housekeeper to help me keep it up. I also didn`t realize when buying my home that I would have so may costs with my business and that the ecomomy would go the way it did. I will basicly be losing out on 150k of equity and 110k in mortgage payments i paid over the last couple of years or so. I have decided to stop "holding on" to it, and struggling to make it. So for sale it goes, even if I take just what i owe...I am leaving that mistake behind. I don`t want that burden any longer. I actually have been given a great opportunity to move to a much smaller home on the beach that will cost me alot less than where I am currently at. The home is a small 1940`s stone home and it is just enough for myself, husband and my little one. My dogs will love it. So that will give me many more options not only to have more funds to help my business grow but more time, and a heck of a lot less stress. I don`t need a big house to impress anyone, I don`t even entertain here much, just have friends who use the property for wedding and gatherings. Nothing I need. All I want is privacy and peace of mind, and the new place has 90 acres and is a waterfront which will allow me both.
As for other things... I like to be "nice" BUT I am going to stop bleeding myself dry, helping everyone under the sun for once. I will still help some folks but I will not allow myself to be taken advantage of. Gosh this year 3 companies, took me and I only have been refunded by one. Enough of that. I have someone else in charge of handling hiring folks now. Maybe i take folks for face value and it`s not my strong suit to find the negative in folks. Maybe it`s about doing better due diligence...I`ll work on that. I know when I say I will do something, I do it. So taht is where i am headed in 2008. A more peaceful, less complicated lifestyle, a better approach to working with people and oh yeah.. Kickin` but in the success dept!
Erin

I/we, my team, are going to launch Zingerding.com in 2008!  That`s my number one goal.  I am also beginning to expand my poster business in a new direction creating custom poster designs of people`s houses.  I think this has the potential to be my core niche as an artist.

And I`ll train my dog to come when called - to name a few goals.  :)

Oh Erin, I can so relate to what you`ve written!  I was able to sell my house last year and really love the place I`m in now.

2007 was a year of putting myself to the test.  I went down a road I never would have expected to travel and found the most amazing people along the way.  Now the year is almost over and I`m well aligned for 2008.

2007 was all READY, AIM.....
2008 = FIRE! ! !

2008? I haven`t made it through 2007. I`m still working through my December goals ... why wait until 2008 to start??

In the next 30 days, I am increasing my blog traffic 5x what is it now to give me a platform to launch a new site off in January 2008.

I am also "reducing overhead" by moving to another state, so I am ramping up business in preparation of that move and the changes in our family that go along with it.

I`m also working on some other materials, like some downloadable content and podcasting.

Steve, I think Zingerding.com is going to be a blast. How well do you want it to go in 2008? Not just launch, do you?

Nikole, great to hear from you. 5x in the next 30 days - wow. That`s brill - share your secrets?

MightyMite - what will FIRE look like?

Beef Jerky - we all can grow more in 2008 - just make sure you have those goals and every activity you do, you can connect to a goal

Andrew,
Thanks for asking that question! I can`t wait to "unload" all of the unneeded garbage. It really has been alot of extra stress that i don`t want or need. Allowing me to focus on what is important will definatley be a positive change. Now, let`s hope I can sell this place. I can`t wait to see Steve`s new comic website, I have a friend who loves that stuff and she has been checking it out. MiteyMite, I can wait to feel the fire from you too! What ever did you decide to do with that project you had going here? Nikole...share the info on that 5x ! Where will you be moving too? Staying out west or venturing east? Janie..I am so glad to have gotten to know you. You are an amazing spirit and I am so happy about your success this year..watch out 2008! Andrew...I have alot of the same goals in 2008, reading more...like I used too, exercising this "computer" body back to my usual weight and getting my husband to take me out even if just once a month!! Oh a vacation... have not done that in toooo long..I am going to shoot for the Atlantis resort this time next year, with my much less stressed, thinner self!

Okay, my goals for 2008 ...

Well, they sounded more like wishes than real goals, so I deleted them and now I can think, more about our actual goals.

But I`d still keep the goal to work things out so we could get away more. More traveling!

and then.....take a vacation on Erin`s 90 acres!  Yes, Erin it sounds wonderful, and I`m sure it will be less stressful.
