Yes, it is officially National Inventor`s Day in the U.S. today, the birth date of Thomas Edison.

Invent, entrepreneurs, invent!

Invent rhymes with invest.  Don`t start it unless you`re willing and able to dedicate a lot of time and money to your invention, or that you have such a great invention people would beat the path to your door.  Typically that ain`t the case.

So my advice to inventors is don`t quit your day job yet.
