Hi Everyone

I`m Oren Todoros, Co-Founder of HYPick.com which was launched about 2 weeks ago. I`d appreciate your comments and reviews on the look and usability of HYPick.

Let me give you a little back story on what HYPick`s all about.

HYPick is an easy way to post and share information with others on various subjects such as News, Health, Tech, Sports, Style, Showbiz and some of the Not Safe For Work stuff. You can even jump straight into the Random topics and have your say on just about anything that’s on your mind. The most active topics get featured on HYPick’s homepage. No good vote, bad vote system, just real people participation! The HYPick community decides what the top stories are, we just let it happen.

Please visit www.hypick.comand give me your thoughts?

Looks okay to me, but I`d sure like to see an "About" page that sort of explains the reason for the site`s existence. With the bazillion forums out there, unless there`s something different about one or another, why bother, y`know? It`d be easy to put in something like "Why Hype a Topic?"

The link to it is at the very bottom and is very small, so it isn`t easy to recognize that this page exists.

"Hype a Topic", on first visit, is kind of vague as far as what to do or what is going on. I think it would be beneficial to have something just a little more clear, yet very simple, on what this site is for near the top of the content.

It reminds me somewhat of Mahalo, although simplified.

First I gotta thank you guys for your reviews and comments, Please keep them coming.

Webline you wrote, it kinda reminds of you Mahalo, If that`s the impression you got, I`m on the right track. In my personal opinion people might go to Mahalo answers or MyLot with the thought of somehow making money, but they stick around for the conversation. There`s no incentive of money on HYPick just like there isn`t on Digg. What there is, is the encentive of reaching the homepage and the highest views.

The thing is right now is that it`s like a club or a party, people don`t want to be the 1st ones out on the dancefloor untill they see their friends out there acting like fools right? but once they`re out there, dancing drunk, all hell breaks loose. That`s where HYPick is right now.
