Still painfully slow to bring up the forum index (8:20AM 6/20/07).

Viewed using DSL connection and a highspeed cable connection.

I see, according to the new billboard, that the CTO is *definitely* and totally so Fired!

I`m just wondering....got one question. Does SuN HAVE a Chief Technology Ossifer?

Actually, being serious for a moment.... I noticed when I searched for my topics, the page came up, but the status bar showed "Transferring data from Google Analytics." That went on and on and on and on.

I decided to wait before clicking a topic (I`d been getting 100% 500 errors) until the status was "Done." THEN clicked a topic, and it went through.

It could be just that the server allowed the move to the topic on a random basis, as it seems to be doing. But it might be that the Analytics transfer is somehow hogging bandwidth? I don`t know much about this stuff, so I`m only making the observation.

From the Headlines:

Sun Capital Partners to acquire Friendly Ice Cream

US-based Friendly Ice Cream Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement under which it will be acquired by Freeze Operations Holding Corporation, an affiliate of Sun....(article)

Hi Roland,

Yes, we`re feeling confident about that. We did make a migration to new hosting servers for the site which has eliminated those errors.

There are still some email notification bugs related to the server switch that we are troubleshooting and next week we will change ad servers which we also believe will improve overall speed and efficiency of the site loading experience.

Ever onward!!

Oh, so that`s the problem. I was wondering ... Thanks Joel.

And yes, I agree that the migration has done wonders for the load time!

Way to go, new server guys!
