I agree with you. My point was not to praise the work done by people living in other continents, but to assess whether it makes sense to become a VA when nowadays hiring a really cheap VA is so easy.

I recognize you might not be of college age, but I found a good resource for ideas and sound business philosophy. Check out Collegiate Entrepreneur (http://www.collegiateentrepreneur.com). I have a bias of course, since I am quoted on the site a couple of times.

Whatever you do... FOLLOW YOUR DREAM. We only get one shot a life (maybe two with the advancements of nanotechnology... but assume just one).
