I was in the restaurant business for 10 years, and I wish I knew about options besides traditional bank financing.  For me to qualify for the $100k loan I received from a major amok, my father had to put $100k in cd deposits in their bank!  Do you know how much strain that put on our relationship until I paid it back in 3 years?!

I now provide cash advances and factoring to other small and medium sized businesses.   It was mentioned before that it really matters what you are using the money for.  Marketing, expansion, renovations, training are all great reasons I love to hear when funding a merchant.

If you sell $13,500 worth of future sales for $10,000 cash immediately, and you use that money to run a marketing program, website optimized for conversion, ppc, loyalty program, direct mail, menu revamp, increasing your sales by $100,000 in a year, then that "expensive" money was money well spent.

Keep in mind that you can funded quickly.  Even if you can qualify for a bank loan, it can take 4 months to get.  How much momentum can you lose in that time, and was that really "cheap" money

Pm me if you need any other info

Ralph
