If you are in the Downriver Detroit area, we invite you to attend the first workshop in the "Grow Your Business" Series, which is being hosted by Downriver Community Federal Credit Union (www.downriversmallbusiness.com).

DCFCU is kicking off this special series during National Small Business Week (April 21 to 25), with the first workshop being held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  Each workshop will feature a different local expert each month and will be designed to help small business owners and managers grow their business in Michigan`s challenging economic environment. Workshops will be held at the Guidance Center`s Center for Excellence on 13111 Allen Rd in Southgate, MI 48195 and will include either a full or continental breakfast for all attendees. The cost to attend each workshop is only $5!! (FREE to DCFCU Members)

Our special speaker for our first workshop is Brian Macias, a dynamic and engaging sales coach who has trained thousands of sales professionals and leaders on the mindset, skills, and habits necessary to be successful in acquiring and serving clients (see
www.BrianMacias.com ).

More information regarding this series will be distributed through a variety of media and organizational outlets including Crains Detroit Business, News Herald, WJR, Southern Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, Trenton Business Association, Local Business Network, Downriver and Detroit Business Association (DADBA), Wyandotte Business Association, and through the 25,000+ members of Downriver Community Federal Credit Union.

If you would like more information, please respond to this posting or contact Mark Tremper directly at 313-460-0438 or via e-mail at tremperm@downrivercommfcu.com.
