Hello everyone!

I am really green, but I think I am coming to the right place.

My background:

I recently quit my job in Japan. I have enough saved to last me a year and half. Single, no kids, no debt and am 30 years old.

I have been thinking what to do with my life and one thing I want is to set up business processes that earn me money.

My very first question to the forum is:

Should I be looking for a new job if I dont have a solid business plan?

Right now, I am poring over books to get ideas on where to take my life. But I wonder if I should be working.

Thanks

Coolhand

Coolhand and mannam,

I'm not sure there's a correct answer to that question, but here's my experience.

I was in similare situation about a year and half ago. After I quite my job, I started working on a business idea I knew was going to work, but after a couple of months of set up and testing I could see that my business idea wasn't going to get me very far. So instead of trying to make a bad idea work I found a job as a short-term solution. I was fortunate enough to find one that gave me the income and flexibility to work on turning a more promising idea into a profitable business before I take the leap to working for myself full-time.

Someone smarter than me said "businesses are just expensive hobbies until they prove they can make money."

Hope that helps!

Jon

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum but not in the online marketing business. I am a Registered Nurse. I quit my job because honestly, it's not my field of choice. I have been working online for 2 years now and hey, I can see myself being here for the rest of my life as I am blessed to earn big. Thank God!
