It’s quite interesting to me that I had to visit another country to find StartupNation!  My second weekend here in Finland, I fell ill so I had LOTS of time on my hand and therefore one internet search led to another which led to me to SuN (kismet I say). 

 

My introduction of myself is somewhat backwards in that on my first visit I immediately set up my member profile, posted a few items in the member listing section and then immersed myself in reading the forums and also the various tutorials throughout the site. So 3 weeks into my membership, I’m now taking the time to introduce myself:

 

I’m Roshelle Jones-Hirvonen (SparkleGirl) and my website is www.SparklingCards.com which is a part-time venture for me (for now at least!). 

 

I’ve come to depend quite heavily on the knowledge that SuN and the community members provides and am slowly becoming comfortable with imparting my own feedback/thoughts to others as I feel a moral responsibility to give something back to an organization and community which has helped me tremendously in such a short time.

welcome to the SUN community... M also pretty new here... I just went through your site and found it quiet interesting... with some easy navigations.... but m not very impressed with the title of your site.... I guess a little homework on SEO`s could help .... ... well thats just a suggestion

great you have found SUN! Welcome.

I`m fairly new as well - been here a month. It is a very helpful site.

I had a quick look at your website - first impressions were good - colours/pictures. Then I didn`t really know what the website was offering - I think it needs a title or welcome.

I also found the `categories` under `choose your occasion` hard to read - quite a small font (or just maybe my eyes!)

Also why should I sign up to your newsletter? Is it free? I wanted to be enticed!

I think I would also add some your testimonials on your front page as well.

Anyway - that was my view.

Checked your website. You said that it is a part time thing for you. So wot are your future plans? Go on full time with your website or get into some thing else.

Anurag:  My full-time job (unfortunately) doesn`t leave me alot of time to work on my marketing and sales initiatives.  However, since I joined SuN, I have gotten back on track as I write down daily goals for SparklingCards and then make sure I follow through with them.
