We are always looking for great recipe ideas using our products, here is a new one that we received this week and I wanted to share. . .YUMMMMMMM
 

GLAZED FRUIT PIZZA

 

Packaged Cookie Dough                         Glaze:
1 pkg Tom’s Tropical Treat                      ½ C Sugar              

1 8 oz Cream Cheese                             1 Pinch Salt

1 8 oz Cool Whip                                     1 T Cornstarch
1 Qt Strawberries, sliced                          ½ C Orange Juice

Pineapple Chucks, Drained                     2 T Lemon Juice

Kiwi, sliced                                               ¼ C Water

Green Grapes, sliced                               ½ T Orange Zest

Mandarin Oranges, drained

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Arrange cookie dough on greased pizza pan and press flat onto pan.  Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.  Allow to cool.

 

Mix Tom’s Tropical Treat according to directions on package and spread evenly on cooled cookie crust.

 

Starting with outside edge place fruit in order given, starting with strawberries on outside ending with mandarin oranges in the middle.

 

Glaze: in a saucepan, combine glaze ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 1-2 minutes, until thickened. Remove from heat. Allow to cool, but not set up.  Drizzle over cookie and fruit.  Chill for two hours.

Recipe: Broccoli Salad

 

Ingredients:

 

1 / 3 cup chopped pecans

1 cup light mayo

1 / 3 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cider vinegar

1 1 / 2 lbs broccoli chopped

1 / 4 cup chopped red onion

1 / 3 cup sweetened dried cranberries

4 slices bacon – cooked and crumbled

 

Directions:

 

  1. Place chopped pecans on baking sheet in single layer
  2. Bake @ 350 degrees 6-8 minutes (until toasted)
  3. Stir together mayo, sugar and vinegar in large bowl; add broccoli, onions and cranberries
  4. Toss to coat
  5. Cover and chill 2 hours
  6. Sprinkle with bacon and pecans just before serving

I tried all type of salad in my home but i never try BROCCOLI SALAD.

so this is new for me.

i sure try this salad.

Awesome, I really liked your recepei, Nice sharing, I love this Vanessa!

I did enjoy the raisens and also think to put about 3 slices of bacon in it, which might have cut a FEW calories.

Thanks for sharing such tasty recipe with us. I love broccoli salad because nothing is so good like a good broccoli salad. This recipe is made of many vegetables, fruits and nuts and this is very easy to made and you may made it at home in your kitchen.
