I'm interested in reading books both by and about the great entrepreneurs (think Branson, Kroc, Walton, etc.). Have any good book recommendations?

You mentioned Walton and if you haven't read Made in Amercia you definitely should.  Winning by Jack Welch is another good one.

Not in the exact same realm but I just read "the Boy Who Harnessed the Wind" which is by/about a boy in Malawi who created his own windmill to help his village...great book and def. a must read for entrepreneurs I'd say.

Reading books especially those whom you can relate can be source of your motivation drive. But for me, speaking to other people makes me more inspired by learning from them directly. Struggles in life that make them succeed.

My website is actually a compilation of book recommendations from famous people, including businessmen like Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, etc.  Maybe you will find it useful?  :]  The link is in my signature.

I am a very big fan of Roberto Goizuetta, the former CEO of Cola Cola.

The book "I'd like to buy the world a Coke' documents his very successful career.

For those who don't recall, Goizuetta brought more growth and revenue to Coca Cola than any other CEO it had in it's entire history. He was truly amazing.

I would recommend one great book from British entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne called Anyone Can Do It. Awesome and inspiring book that changed my life.
