Greetings from Illinois,

I have my business website sitting on DomainPup.  I'm small and still consider myself start-up though my pet sitting business has been relatively good.  I want to verify my site with Google, however, I have nowhere to put the html code and I can't upload the html file.  Although I'm pretty computer saavy, I can't figure out how to get around this problem.  Does anyone else have a 'plug and play' website they had the same problem with and were able to solve?

Thanks!

Vijai

Hello Sheila

I have the solution you wanted. I have 2 sites which are made in google one personal and one non-profit and I have the google verified.

Here is the steps,

1. Login to google site

2. Select Manage site from the More Action Menu.

3. In that page, go the General Menu option.

4. There you will see the section to paste the meta tag to verify your website. You just cut and paste the meta tag from webmaster tool and voila! its verified.

Let  me know if you need help.

FYI - you are not suppose to use google site for business purpose. It is against the Terms and conditions.
