Google closing 10 of their services

I do like what Google is doing these days. They killing the useless projects that never really took off. Maybe now they will focus on Google search and Google+ more after loosing a few projects.

 

Google continues to trim its offerings, announcing that 10 projects will either be discontinued or merged into other products. Aardvark, a Q&A social search startup acquired from former Googlers for $50 million in 2010, is the most noteworthy among the closings.

What are Googles top 10 products now?

I just learned of their URL shortner:

I hope we can build out a list.  I would start the list with:

1.  Google Places

2.  Adsense

3.  Goo.gl

What are the other Google tools people are using now?

If they are closing services, then why haven’t they closed down Orkut and continued with Google + alone. It’s a bit confusing to see two social networking sites run by one company.
