This might be old hat to some of you - but I was showing this to a entrepreneur friend of mine and they really liked it.

No special software, just google calendar and your cell phone`s text messaging capabilities.

Now I or an assistant just plugs my "call to make" onto my calendar and I never dial the numbers.  I schedule them for various times when I believe I will have availability - usually while driving - and this completely negates my need to dial or look at a number.

If you have other ways you use free and nearly free technical resources, reply - I am sure others would love to know.

Great tool! I am not one of the best organised guy but I have realised the importance of using Outlook,Thunderbird and ya Google Calender. Can`t imagine that I used to ever sign-in to all my different mail accounts to check my mails individually. So history!
