I have recently been researching the government insourcing directive that has been in place for over a year now and I don't understand why the government is doing this. They say it is to save money, but it doesn't (even Defense Secretary Robert Gates says it doesn't save money). My question is: does anyone know how to estimate how many minority owned and small businesses will go out of business as a result of this government insourcing directive? Or maybe the better question is has anyone even heard of this insourcing directive?
