Magazine advertising can be very expensive. But the power of magazine exposure is amazing! We were fortunate to get into a magazine`s holiday gift guide. It has kept us quite busy.

We were contacted for samples, to get into the guide. And I guess very lucky that they chose us.

I would recommend anyone to seek out this opportunity. And I`m sure some of the PR people here, have some great contacts!

Congratulations Janie! Obviously, you know what you are doing when it comes to reaching out to the media. And it sounds like you have a great product!!

With PR, it`s really a matter of figuring out who you need to contact and pursuing those contacts with targeted pitches. You are an example of doing that and showing how it works! Thanks for sharing your story and letting others know that it is possible.

Ah...., a minute to check out Sun. Thanks Erin, and thanks Melanie.

It wasn`t really a success story about figuring out who to contact. We were just fortunate that the people at the magazine found us, online, and contacted us!

But now more than ever, I believe in the power of PR, and think, those of you that are PR Specialists :), have a lot to offer.
