Ok so as most of you know I`m currently trying to raise a small bit of cash to get a web venture started. My goal is $50 - $100 to secure domain names, email hosting and DNS services. I`ve got around $33 raised to date so I`m holding a good old fashioned fundraiser!

No i could ask for money, and have you PayPal it to me but i had a better idea! Why shouldn`t you get something out of this for yourself! Am I right!?

I`m a web guy. I build web sites but I wasn`t always the great developer or Internet geek you see now. I read a lot of books, most of which came from my favorite publisher. They have books on CSS, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, Starting a Web Development Business, Search Engine Marketing and more!

So check out those books by clicking on the links above or by clicking here to see a complete list. If you see one you like then buy it, doing so will spiff me an affiliate payment (around $8 a book). I get a bit of cash, and you get a great resource (I currently have 75% of these books on my desk :) ).

So that`s it. Hope I don`t offend anyone with my little fundraiser and I encourage others here to do the same! Maybe we`ll all get some great products, and help each other out at the same time.

I don`t know... if you can afford those books I can`t see why you can`t afford a domain name.  This is especially true for some of the very inexpensive hosting sites out there... ?
