Hi everyone,

I've used Frontpage 2000 successfully for about 8 years now and just yesterday, had a problem trying to publish an edited site.  I had transferred a domain from GoDaddy to another host company and the next day this problem occurred.  I've talked to GoDaddy several times trying to determine if the transfer had anything to do with my problem.  The FP Extensions have been applied and the FTP is normal on their end.

When I get ready to publish using the FTP address it reverts back to the domain I just transferred rather than the domain I'm attempting to publish to.  I've NEVER had a problem with FP until now.  I have 4 other websites that I can't change using the correct FTP location - this is crazy-making!

Under the Tools menu, there is "security" where you can change your password, but it's dark and I can't use it.

Does anyone out there know how to fix this?  Thank you for any help you can provide.

Since you recently transfered hosts, it sounds like the domain name servers (DNS) for your domain(s) may not be fully propagated. It can take a few hours or days until the DNS are all set.

When you change hosts, you ned to change the DNS for your domain to point to your new web host.

You might check with your new web host to make sure your DNS are set up properly.

Thanks Roland for your response. 

I may not have stated myself clear enough.  The domain I transferred was to another person and their host company.  I remain with GoDaddy with several domains.  My root directory changed on GoDaddy so maybe that's not propogated yet?  I'll wait one more day since the transfer happened on 7/21/10.
