Thanks everyone for such great info!  With the HARO gift bag request I was able to get my products into some VIP gift bags that include some celebs!

Nice job! Another relatively low-cost PR/advertising source is to make a short list of conventions and trade shows that attract your target audience, then, instead of having a booth at the show, use the `bag stuffer` service that most conventions offer. For a low price, the convention staff will place your advertising/marketing flyer into the free bags that are given to convention attendees as they register. Many will even let you send them a PDF which they will print and stuff, or you can send boxes of material to them.

A small booth at a small show can easily run $1k to $2k, but a bag stuffer will usually be in the low hundreds.
