Some free web services are considered good startups. For example, AddThis and ShareThis - they are both web services that let anyone add a link to their web page that makes it easy to tweet or facebook or email a link to that page. They are very useful, and are used all over the internet - but they're free. They don't make any money. Why are they considered good startups?
