If anyone is just starting out or doesn`t have complex accounting needs, they may want to check out QuickBooks Simple Start 2008. It`s free and offers surprising functionality for a free product.
It`s not a trial version. They promise you can use it as long as you`d like. Of course, if you choose to upgrade in the future, you can import your data from Simple Start 2008 so there is no need to re-enter all of your information.
I was impressed.
