Hi, I'm a student at UC Berkley and this summer I work as an intern for a Norwegian startup company called MobileTech. Currently I’m working with our US web site strategy, therefore I’m wondering if anyone has some great advices for a framework that I can use for developing the concept? It would be highly appreciated!

Thanks :) – Henny

Research what your client's competitors are doing and not doing.

Henney_Berkeley,

What exactly do you mean by framework? A framework to develop the website?

What are oyu guys trying to achieve with the website?

What will the website be used for?

What assets do you already have?

It really depends on the type of website and functionalities you would like, with more details we may be able to advise you better.

Yes, you can actually specify what you are looking for here. Show some screenshots or samples of sites that you want to launch, etc.

Compared to your traditional Joomla template, there are a few more clicks to install but still only one (1) installation process. This is the new way that Joomla templates work with many template clubs now, as we are all giving you as a user more control over your website by adding a separate control component (in our case called Configurator).

You are going to have to expand on 'Framework'. Are you meaning a grid framework that you can use to produce rapid prototypes or a framework for the overall site such as wordpress (in this case, you are talking about a platform).

What kind of framework are we talking about? Development (code) / conceptual (creative) / Business (Planning)?
