I noticed that many people have some great photos of themselves as
thier little square icon next to each post... but so many of them are
so distorted I just can`t make anything out.

So, I am here to help! :)

If you use your image editing software, try to either crop your
picture to a perfect square, or even better, 64pixels by 64pixels.
Then re-upload your photo and presto, a perfect image with no
distortion.

Thanks for the tips.  I am tired of looking like one of the Chipmunks.  $4000 worth of orthodontia as a teenager and my avatar photo makes me look like I could chop wood with my teeth - LOL!

I think my problem is that the photo is super-high resolution and it just didn`t shrink well.  You`ve inspired me to change the photo.
