Another thing... if you are subcribed to forum notification, i.e. you get an email everytime a new topic is posted in a forum, you should have the option to turn OFF notification for a individual topic.

example: i am subscribed to "Getting Efficient". I get an email everytime someone posts something in the topic "business card scanner". i don`t want to get notifications on this specific topic anymore, but I still want to get notifications on other topics in that forum. i can`t turn off the notifications for the specific topic. i want to be able to turn off that notification for that specific topic.

Steve,

There is a Topic Notification Subscriptions section on this page.

http://www.startupnation.com/pages/community/email_notify_su bscriptions.asp

There is also a Disable notifications for this topic link next to the topic title on the topic page.

see how even though I am subscribed to the forum, i can`t unsubscribe from the topic notification? that is what I want. to be able to turn off notifications for individual topics that don`t interest me and i don`t want to get an email everytime that topic is added to. thanks

OK, I see what you mean.  We don`t have the functionality in place to do this currently, but will keep this in mind when we upgrade the software!
