I have seen this come through my mail multiple times for my S corp.  I have really had to double take on these and read closely before feeling comfortable ripping them up.  Thanks for the notification for those who may not be sure what to do on these.

Would like to point out that there are legitmate services out there, like the one I offer to help startup companies.

These include setting up tax accounts, licensing, registering with various federal, state & local agencies. Providing referalls & advice on business insurance, banking, setting up accounting systems, etc.

I market these services specifically to newly registered entities with the secretary of state. I don`t ask anyone to send me money, just call or email to tell them how I can help them both during company startup and on a perpetual basis.

Thanks for this, i never knew about this and im about to open up a small biz.  Glad i know this now, cause maybe ill send them a letter back stating that i am with a "small compliance investment" firm and they need to send some investment money w/ no return value at all...haha

But on the other hand, its just more mail to throw away.

Thanks again!
