I've been in the food business for several years in a small market and have attracted international attention and been awarded for my products. I have a created a great line of NEW products featuring an ingredient that the company who makes said ingredient has not yet capitalized upon.

I would like to venture into another VAST market and approach the makers of this ingredient that's central to the line, to discuss the potential without having them steal my idea.  I have no doubt WHATSOEVER about the potential of this line of products but don't know how to approach this company.

Should I consider a licensing agreement and accept a royalty or stay in the mix to have some say about the marketing to drive sales? I have no experience outside of my tiny market at home. What makes the most sense. Any suggestions?
