I am looking for some help on which online business to start, I know Dreamweaver and Fireworks so I can edit basic website templates. That being said I know my way around the internet and websites. But I don`t want to end up spending good money for worthless websites or the typical "turnkey" sites you see hyped up.Been there done that

I have a very good job but want to be semi-retiered within the next year, two at most. So I`d like to start with something that I can grow or that will grow over time. So I`ve been doing my research and I ready things to the next level. And I have some ideas but would like some input.

Idea #1 I found what looks like a very professional PHP script that would allow me to set up my own PPC Ad Network, they also have a Search Engine Script that pulls results from the majors that way I could publish ads while I get publishers to sign up and also host ads. I`ve done the homework and its the best around. I stopped short of buying the script after thinking how would I go heads up with Google and Yahoo? The total investment is only $149 for the PPC script and $249 for the Search Engine, I see a few other site promoting there own PPC Networks, but I wonder how much there are really making? Upside looks like it could be big.

Idea #2 A lot of my friends kept telling me about how they watch free movies online, I went on a few of these sites and they are getting big traffic and few ask you to fill out a survey or host some other advertising. Then I saw one for sale for about $3,000 claiming they make $100 per day and more from survey ads. Now I see them for sale all the time for as little as $149 or I found the script fro sale for about $69. Not sure about how long these sites will be around though, seems like some are getting shut down but pop right back up because of the money they make and some have been around for 12 months with no issues.

Idea #3 I visit a site where people buy and sell sites. Seems that most are cheap and will go nowhere but others have verified income and some have tones of traffic with little income but could be real money makers if ads were put on the sites. Is it better for me to pay the premium in price (sometimes as much as $3,000) for big traffic or something already making money or should I just go my own way buy the scripts and start it myself?

Can someone give me some feed back on these ideas all 3 or even an opinion on one at time will do. I have no problem sharing the site mentioned just not sure how the site admins would feel about it, but I need some real advice. Thanks in advance

I noticed on other post people are listing websites so I`ll do the same to maybe get some better feed back.

The site that sells the PPC and Search Engine Script is inoutscripts.com

The site selling the movie script is scriptacula.com

And the site I visit all the time that lists sites for sale is flippa.com
