Hello everyone,

I am looking to start a website.  I know what I want to do, but I just don’t have an official name yet.  I don’t want to keep waiting until I find the right name to start, so I decided on a temporary name.

I plan on changing it somewhere down the line when I figure it out.

How much of an impact would changing the name of my website have? And how impo

Also, does anyone have any tips on thinking of a site name?  Someone told me it should be a unique word that people will remember.   It’s a music related site.

Thanks All,

 Adam

If you think that you will have a large number of followers from inception then take your time on the name. If no one is looking for you now then the pressure for your name can be relaxed. Names shou,d same what you do. For example one of my favorites is National Tire Wholesalers It tells precisely what they do. Think about what you want to communicate to potential web growers and go from there. Www.startfromwhereyouare.com
