Hello everyone!

Great to be part of the site!

I work for an Investment Group and I was wondering how to go about searching the web in regards of finding start up companies that are in need of funding.

Thanks a lot for your help

zlombardi,

There are quite a few sites where entrepreneurs post their capital requests - including here.

Perhaps, if you could share your investment criteria with us, we can give you more specific response.

Try richuncle (dot) com.   They have lots of businesses looking for investors.

Since my business is incorporating businesses I have to remind you to incorporate your business.  It is one of the most important steps in starting a new business venture.  Many of the expenses just looking for a new venture can be deducted.

I recently attended a very nice event put on by FundingPost.com. They specialize in providing opportunities for investors and companies to meet. Another resources is the new website, Caplinked.com, which allows companies looking for investment to post deals online.

One would think that if you work for an investment group, you would know how to research and identify suitable investment opportunities. FYI. Professional investors usually don’t have to resort to rather obscure websites to generate leads for their funds. Fundingpost.com is probably the exception to that rule.

A couple of ways that I find to be useful are connecting with people on Linkedin as well as browsing companies that are looking for capital on GetCapital. org

The best way to look for such companies, who are in need of funding to start up their business, is to advertise your services online. Believe me, the fund needed companies will get in touch with you once you start advertising your services.

Invest in mine!!! I have a new product in a 4 billion dollar a year industry, I have no competitors, killer domains, and huge global market (anywhere from toothbrush users to sexually active people), products will retail from 3 dollars up and cost less than a buck to manufacture.
