I am starting a business in New York at the moment, and looking for a good accountant to help with tax returns, fillings and payroll. I am not interested in any of the large firms, but looking for a competent individual who can come in and help close out books once a month.

Does anyone know of anyone who would fit the bill (ideally someone they are using?
