A decision was made at Quick One Messenger to switch from PayPal to Trans First because of lower fees and faster payments. This required re-coding 2 pages at www.QuickOneMessenger.com - the Quick One Store and Make A Payment pages.
I filled in the form requesting pre-screened vendors and promptly got emails and phone calls regarding my needs. The vendors fell into 2 categories: (1) selling their own complete solution for my needs (a complete online payment system) and (2) needing more technical info.
Finding a technical consultant to provide the technical info to the vendors or investigating a completely new online payment system both seemed unnecessarily expensive in both time and money. In the end, I went with the same web designer I had used previously. I gave hime the same information that I gave to the SUN vendors about the need and he researched it and got back to me.
I`ll be pleased to try the pre-screened vendors option again for other projects - for example, I may need a complete barcoding and tracking system for a busy Messenger Center and it seems to me that pre-screened vendors could help me to select and obtain the right system for this.
