I have formed an unincorporated association, IRS registered, focused on Wellness and Personal Growth with plans for an event in November - Eco Shop and Buffet Luncheon. It has several purposes, including member recruitment and raise funds to create a fund to provide members will Naturopathic Medicine and Wellness services, discounted through affiliates. I have a sponsor proposal prepared as well, and a budget that includes the event planner's fee as part of the sponsor funds. The planner would receive $7,500 from the sponsor funds, as well as a percentage of ticket sales, on site product sales, and a link on our website.
How can I find an event planner willing to recruit the sponsors and also co-plan, co-promote and co-host the event here in NYC? Any advice?
