i created an llc company for a start up website. however, the start up fell through. how do i terminate the llc and would i need to file taxes????

You do have to file a final Federal tax return, even if there`s no income. How you dissolve the LLC depends on which state you are in. Contact your Secretary of State office for the necessary information.
