Girlfriendology is an online community for women based on inspiration, appreciation and celebration of female friendship. I do semi-weekly podcasts with inspiring, amazing women as well as videos, contests, shopping, reviews and blogs. All inspiring - no male bashing, ranting, negative self-esteem ads, etc.

I`d love your comments on:
  • my site (but it is changing in the coming weeks so come back and visit!) - podcasts, blogs, etc. all will be on girlfriendology.com in new site
  • ideas on women to interview on podcasts and podcasts that might want to interview me on female friendship
  • ways to cross-market with other female-oriented sites
  • products I can promote on reviews and as contest give-aways
Thanks for your time and consideration! I`m a passionate entrepreneur and am thrilled to find this SuN community! Thanks, Debba

I really like your site, Debba. I see that you have a blog and are interested in cross-promotion. You might want to check out BlogHer.com and post some blog entries there. It`s geared toward women, and overall I think you`ll find a receptive audience there. Best of luck!

Erika - thanks so much for your idea!

I`m going to the BlogHer conference later this month but didn`t think of posting anything on their blog but now I will!

Thanks so much! Debba

Debba,

Your site looks great. I`ll have to find some time to really look around on it. I`m always interested in any site for women that empowers rather than breaks off into cat-fighting or gossip. Maybe you could try contacting/networking with some of these other sites if they fit the bill. There might also be some great prospects for interviews with women from these organizations. I might join the Social Jane site. I`m moving to Michigan by the end of the year and need to make new girlfriends.

Hi Debba,

Fun looking site! I love the concept as well.

Not sure where you are located but you may want to connect with Ladies Who Launch. I`m a part of their SF chapter and they always have opportunities for inspiring and positive females to cross-sell.

Have a great weekend.

Hi Calie,

Thanks for your note! Actually, I interviewed Stella Grizont from Ladies Who Launch on my podcast - www.girlfriendology.libsyn.com and it is really cool organization.

We don`t have a chapter in Cincinnati, unfortunately. I have started/joined a couple entrepreneurial groups which is really, really helpful!

You have a beautiful site and I love your design style. I`d love to keep you in mind for future projects. I would love some graphics to put on shirts for girlfriends but probably can`t afford you. If you have ideas or just want to check in from time to time, please do. Thanks so much! Debba

Hi Debba,

That`s too bad that LWL isn`t in Cincinnati. If you are ever interested in starting a chapter there I know the SF Director and she can tell you how she did it. I know her incubators bring a nice secondary source of income for her.

Thank you for your kind words on my designs. I`d be happy to talk with you sometime about t-shirts or future projects. I`m probably not as expensive as you think :-).

Anyway, feel free to shoot me an email if you ever want to connect. My site will show you my address.

Happy Sunday.
