I think you did a very good job as well. Just a couple of suggestions though!
First, the " Services" seem to be core business for the company. Am I right? Regardless, the services button in a more prominent position, ie: further left (as that is how we read).
I don`t mind the logos at all. It is very common to see in your industry.
I`d like to see more infomration about the guys you mention on the about us page.
On the contact page you have a Yahoo window to enter in a Zip or address and find the map. I think you should have a link a map of the company address. You could even put a map right up there.
Also, be careful that your email addresses are not text that is able to be copied. Once your up for a bit, you could begin to recieve alot of junk mail. I turn emails addresses into picture files so they are not easily data mined.
Hope some of that helps.

As with any website the design is subjective. The aestetics of the sight are also subjective.
It`s going to depend on what exactly the purpose of your website is. It doesn`t always have to have modern, expensive graphics, BUT if you are creating the site as a way to "actively market" your products and services, I`d take the advice of these webdesign guys. You will only get out of a website, what you put in! You know, Garbage in,Gargbage out!
Only you can make the cost benefit analysis on various components and features you want.
Just remember, that there is a balance to be struck between the design and the promotion.
However, "whoever gets the most eyeballs wins". I`d be spending my effort an time on the promotion. You win more sales that way.
Theres alot of great suggestions from everybody here. I stand by what I said, although some easy cheap adjustments could be made, you`ve done a good job!
I would suggest changing the title color or adding a logo that is more prominent. Also, your address should be placed on the main page near your phone number.
I think it is functional, if not exciting. It all depends on why you created the site in the first place. Do you want to market to potential customers? Did you create the site just so people searching could find your information? I think you have achieved the objective of having a basic site where visitors can find out who you are, what you sell, and how to contact you.
What do you think your customers are looking for from your site? For instance, when I am looking for a nice new restaurant, I expect their site to have images of the establishment, a menu, and contact information. I do take into account the quality of the design, but not having a menu or images is a bigger negative, IMO. When I looked for a local mechanic, the one that had the strongest Internet presence got my business. He had a basic design, but he clearly listed the vehicles he services, how long he had been in business, the equipment he uses, and included customer testimonials.
I don`t think all web sites need to imitate the finest design. In fact, when it comes to advertising brick and mortar business, I believe usability and actually providing relevant the information your potential customers are looking is far more important than a flashy design.
