:-) Unfortunately, the OTHER way to read this has to do with "Yokel" in the meaning of country bumpkin. I was pretty sure that`s not what you were goin` for, though.

Hmm...lessee.....local and loyalty. What else can we come up with?

What about something along the lines of "Close to Home?"

On the flip side ...  what do the following mean ?

avaya - nothing showed up even in dictionary.com

apple - what the heck has a fruit to do with computers ?

google - did it mean anything 10 yrs ago

accenture - no clue..

I guess it is more about having something that will catch consumer`s attention.  They just did a small article about url names on npr this morning and were talking about how this company www.spiralfrog.com had nothing to do with frogs or springs..

Prashant is totally on target. The "name" in and of itself means very little. It`s the branding and association that matters. And for that, you need a conceptual foundation for what it is you`re trying to accomplish.
